I have been a die hard Pott-head from the word go, but the movies, for me, are just too much of a stretch in all the wrong places. I think we saw Bill for a second in the movie and a thought flashed in my head about him and Fleur... but then it was gone. There was just waaay too much in the book (in all of the books) for a single movie. But the kid who plays Harry Potter really nails the character for me, so I think that's why I enjoy the movie series so much. In fact, all the characters are played just as I imagined them in the books (Helena Bonham Carter especially - I swear I pictured her as Bellatrix when I read the books). But, really. There's no good excuse for not reading Harry Potter. If you're older than 8, it's mandatory! I totally forgot about the whole Voldemort backstory.
